We are now looking for a Systems Engineer for a technically advanced project where you will work closely with technology and take responsibility for the whole. In the role of Systems Engineer, you will hold a key position in a technically complex project where marine environmental systems are integrated into a cohesive solution. You will be responsible for ensuring that various subsystems and sensors work together so that the overall system meets the specified functional and performance requirements.

The role is interdisciplinary and dynamic, and your focus will vary throughout the different phases of the project, from early requirements definition and system design to integration and verification. You will work closely with the project's integration management and have many points of contact with both customers and subcontractors, often in international contexts. • Be responsible for functional and information logical interfaces between different subsystems and components
• Ensure that integrated systems meet defined functional and performance requirements
• Contribute to and further develop integration plans in collaboration with the project's key roles
• Coordinate and participate in integration activities and manage and resolve technical deviations
• Work with requirements breakdown, requirements flow-down, and verifiability
• Review and produce technical documentation
• Maintain ongoing dialogue with customers and subcontractors regarding technical solutions and interfaces

• Have an engineering degree or equivalent technical background
• Have 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Have experience in system integration at the system-of-systems level
• Have worked with system and/or solution design
• Have good experience working in integrated project teams
• Are highly structured with strong planning skills and good attention to detail
• Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing

As a person, you are technically curious, analytical, and thrive close to technology. You find it easy to switch between detail and holistic perspectives and work proactively to identify and manage risks before they become problems. You are persistent, responsible, and have a clear “get things done” drive.

You are also comfortable in dialogue with various stakeholders, from technical specialists to subcontractors and customers, and can discuss technology at both a high and low level. Collaboration comes naturally to you, and you appreciate being part of a competent team where everyone has their clear areas of responsibility.

The position may involve travel within Sweden and internationally depending on the project phase.

This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Friday.
